Sabatti Rover TRAQUEUR hunting rifle
The Sabatti Rover Traqueur rifle joins the Rover rifle family, carrying on the Sabatti tradition of high quality, high precision gun making. The Rover Traqueur is a traditional bolt-action rifle designed for hunting in the woods, for short and medium range kills.
The Sabatti Rover action is made out of a solid billet of 7075 aluminum alloy, precision machined with minimal tolerances and with a surface finishing obtained by glass microspheres’ shot blasting and by a following hard anodizing treatment. The receiver comes with an integral Picatinny rail allowing the mount of riflescopes or other aiming devices.
The bolt is CNC machined from a bar of steel: it is chromed and elegantly deep-fluted. The quality of the Rover three lugs, 60° opening throw bolt, along with a sturdy extractor and a removable knob, make the Sabatti Rover action one of the best on the market.
The rifle comes with a Sabatti standard trigger set, factory adjusted at 1.200 g / 2.6 lbs.
La Sabatti Rover Traqueur has a cold hammer forged traditional rifling barrel, with all the quality for which Sabatti rifles are famous. The barrels is 46 cm / 18” long, with a 18 mm / .71” muzzle diameter and a 5/8”x24 muzzle thread, allowing the use of muzzle brakes or flash hiders. Right below the muzzle of the barrel there is a front sling swivel.
The Rover Traqueur rifle features a sturdy polymer stock with soft rubber butt pad. Like all rifles in the Rover family, the stock is equipped with a cheek rest, replaceable with others of two different heights by purchasing the optional Rover kit, which also includes a set of shims to adjust the stock length of pull. A multipurpose steel plate is embedded in the forearm, allowing the mount of bipods or other accessories.
